About the Track PDF Print E-mail

We hold our races on Centennial Street in the Village of Ashwaubenon, which is southwest of Green Bay.  You can find directions to the track and information about local accommodations on the Race Location page.  There are several reasonably-priced hotels near the track.  Concessions are for sale and portable restroom facilities are available on race-day near the starting line.

Ramp side view Ramp rear view Our track requires the use of ramps.  Our aluminum-channel ramps are 12 inches high and 8 feet long.  You can click the images to the right and left to see the ramps from the side and rear.

Centennial Street has a 2% crown.  The track is 950 feet long with a 30% grade.  Racers have reached speeds up to 31mph!  This is a fun, fast track.  The road is closed, so the Village of Ashwaubenon turns a blind eye to our soap box drivers' blatant disregard for the speed limit during our races.

The interactive map below contains markers that call out various areas of the track that are helpful to know on race-day.  You can also view the track on a larger map, and use Street View to get a ground-level view of the hill.
